World IBD Day

We are joining forces with over 50 countries across five continents for World IBD Day! From lighting landmarks to hosting events, patient organizations and their communities celebrate World IBD Day to raise awareness about inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and show support for all who are affected.

As the theme for this year's global campaign is 'Making the Invisible Visible', we'll be taking to social media throughout the day to:
  • Give tips on how you can start conversations about IBD amongst those unfamiliar with the disease;
  • Share stories from our passionate volunteers about conversations they started; and
  • Provide resources you can share with those looking to learn more about Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
You will also be able to find these helpful tips and resources on our website - stay tuned!

And, be sure to keep your on the sky as landmarks throughout the country will be illuminated in purple.

Take part in the global initiative by snapping a photo of a local landmark, contributing your tips, and sharing the conversations you've started! When chiming in be sure to use #worldibdday2019 and #makingtheinvisiblevisible.
