Patients and Caregivers

Living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or acting as a caregiver to a loved one with the disease means a lifetime of learning. To help understand the ins and outs of research, we are sharing resources that provide insight into the research Crohn's and Colitis Canada funds, and information on how to participate in clinical trials.

Our Research

Crohn's and Colitis Canada funds research covering a number of areas important to patients and caregivers. We fund research that will help lead to cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis as well as improve quality of life for those living with these chronic diseases. Funded research looks at identifying causes and triggers, helping manage symptoms, getting the best care, and discovering novel treatments.
