Our dedicated Crohn’s and Colitis Canada volunteer communities are doing amazing things across the country to continue moving our mission forward. They are making a difference in the lives of children and adults living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and we need to let them know how significant their impact is.

Our annual 2022 Volunteer Award Nomination are the opportunity to formally recognize and celebrate these incredible individuals so go ahead and submit a nomination to acknowledge their achievements, before the submission deadline of Friday August 5.

Let your favourite volunteers know how remarkable their work is!

Even though every volunteer deserves an award for their gifts of time and talent, here are the 3 volunteer recognition award categories that you can choose from:

  • Unsung Hero award which celebrates the substantial contribution a volunteer has made to the work of the organization over time and may or may not have held any particular office or been previously recognized for their efforts; this award allows them to be recognized for the upstanding work they did.

  • Volunteer Team Excellence award. This award is presented to a group of volunteers who demonstrate collaboration and innovation that has made a greater impact on the lives of every individual affected by Crohn’s or colitis.

  • Gutsiest Walk – Team award, is given to a team that demonstrated a great team attitude, bringing the event to life in a creative and engaging manner resulting in strong participation in their local community
