Join fellow youth living with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis at our annual Jaclyn Fisher Education Symposium! Back for its third year, the Jaclyn Fisher Education Symposium brings together teens and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) experts for discussions and learning about all things IBD. 

PART 1: THE POWER OF YOU

Talking with others about your IBD can foster understanding and community. But sometimes it’s hard to know how to start and what to say. Join us for our first session to hear from others about their journey with IBD, get advice on how to communicate about your disease, and learn about the benefits of being open about your IBD journey with friends, family, teachers, and co-workers. During this event, you will have the opportunity to connect with peers, and ask your questions about living with IBD to our featured guest speakers!

PART 2: Talking diet & nutrition

One size doesn't fit all—at least when it comes to Crohn's and colitis. There's a lot of diets that can work for managing Crohn's or colitis, but how do you determine what works for you? This day of the Symposium will focus around strategies for you to manage your diet, including trigger foods, meal planning, eating on a budget and much, much more!
