The world changes by the minute. The way we get our information, how accessible it is and how we interact with it, has changed dramatically over the last couple years.

That’s why we at Crohn’s and Colitis Canada have decided to grow our social media footprint by joining TikTok!

This disease affects its patients in an assortment of ways and because of the nature of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), we understand that sharing stories might be taboo or embarrassing to talk about.

We’re here to change that.

Why TikTok you ask?

Our goal through our TikTok channel (and Instagram Reels) is to eliminate the ‘hush’ around IBD stories, jokes and scenarios we find ourselves in. We also plan to educate and raise awareness about Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and the external issues surrounding these diseases.

Most of all, we hope these videos let our community know that you are not alone.

Let’s learn, support, spread awareness and share a couple laughs together.
