Mentoring in IBD

Mentoring in IBD

The annual Mentoring in IBD curriculum has become increasingly popular among Canadian specialists. One reason for this steadily increasing popularity is the consistent, practical and clinically relevant objectives governing the development of each component:

  • Increase awareness of new developments and best practices in IBD management
  • Promote collaboration among Canadian gastroenterologists
  • Optimize treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.

During the 26 years since the first symposium, Mentoring in IBD has evolved into an innovative and successful annual educational program for Canadian gastroenterologists. Each new initiative has provided gastroenterologists with a fresh opportunity to update their knowledge, share their experience with colleagues and expand their clinical expertise.
