Volunteer Learning and Development Program
Volunteers are at the heart of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada. Our organization was founded by volunteers, and that legacy remains important to this day.
We are committed to providing learning and development opportunities that help volunteers build skills, gain knowledge, and grow their confidence. By investing in volunteer development, we strengthen our community and support volunteers in making a meaningful impact across the organization.
The Volunteer Learning and Development Program has replaced the GUTS Conference and offers a variety of virtual learning opportunities designed to connect, engage, and support volunteers in their roles. Sessions may include leadership development, volunteer best practices, organizational updates, and opportunities to learn from staff, fellow volunteers, and subject matter experts.
The Volunteer Learning and Development Program is available to all active Crohn’s and Colitis Canada volunteers. We encourage volunteers to participate, connect with others, and continue building their skills and knowledge to support our Promise.
