Gutsy Walk 2023 is Here!

Yes, we might be in the holiday season, but there’s something else going on this time of year that brings joy, excitement and hope across the country…and that is the launch of our annual Gutsy Walk!

If you’re new to us and don’t already know, Gutsy Walk is THE LARGEST community fundraising event for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis research and programs here in Canada. Last year we were able to raise an incredible $2.5 million, and it’s thanks to people like you who care about our cause and want to see Crohn’s and Colitis Canada fulfill our Promise, to find the cures to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and to improve the lives of everyone affected by these diseases.

We’re ready to build on last year’s success and momentum—2022 brought us back to in-person walks across the country, and it was wonderful to feel the energy both off- and online. Smiles, laughter, and the positivity of our community were felt no matter how our friends and family chose to take part.

In an uncertain time, our community stepped up in a huge way which is why we can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store.

Register, make your profile, and start raising funds, building awareness, and spreading hope…remember, you can register as an individual or a team!

To kick things off, we have a special early bird incentive to get your fundraising going! The first 50 people to raise $250 online by the end of December 31, 2022*, will take home an exclusive, extremely comfortable hoodie to help keep you warm until June!

And that’s only the beginning! Stay tuned for more news about what Gutsy Walk ’23 has in store—including stories from our 2023 National Honourary Chairs, soon to be announced!

Until then, we hope you can sign up and start your Gutsy Walk fundraising—because every dollar raised means Crohn’s and Colitis Canada can do that much more for our amazing community.

Together as one we walk to stop Crohn’s and colitis.
