Sydneys Letter

Dear Friend,

My name is Sydney and I’m in Grade 5. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for helping people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

I chose to learn about Crohn’s and Colitis Canada for a school project because my dad and my aunt live with Crohn’s disease every day. I see how it affects their lives, and I wanted my classmates to understand what Crohn’s disease is and how many people in Canada live with these illnesses.

Working on this project helped me learn that living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis can be really hard, but it also showed me how important it is to have support. Thanks to people like you, families like mine know that research is happening, doctors are learning more, and people living with these diseases are not alone.

Your generosity helps fund research, support programs, and resources that make a real difference for people and families affected by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Knowing that there are people who care gives us hope.

Thank you for your kindness and for choosing to support Crohn’s and Colitis Canada. It means so much to me and to my family.

With gratitude,
Sydney
