Summer of 150 BBQs

Join us this summer, and host one of 150 BBQs across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia!

We are doing this for three reasons - to help fund further research into inflammatory bowel disease, which impacts 1 in 150 Canadians; to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday; and because who doesn't love a summer BBQ with a purpose! It's easy to participate - chances are you are already having a BBQ this summer!

Here's how:

  • Register at the link below. You can participate from any community in Western Canada (Manitoba and west), big or small, north south east or west.
  • Set a date for your BBQ between July 1st and August 20th, 2017.
  • Invite your friends to your BBQ to help celebrate Canada's 150th summer.
  • Let your friends know that donations are appreciated for Crohn's and Colitis Canada at your BBQ. Any amount is appreciated from a coin collection on up! Donations of $15 or over automatically will be sent a tax receipt.
  • Have a fantastic BBQ with family and friends!
  • Send the donations from your BBQ to us by September 1, 2017* to be entered to win some great prize packages (stay tuned for prize announcements).
  • All BBQs that raise over $150 will be entered to win.  One prize per province. One entry per mailing address.
  • Add any BBQ photos to our Summer of 150 BBQs albums on our provincial Facebook pages (if you have your guests' permission).
  • Notice there are four columns below. These will fill with the names of registered BBQ hosts. There are bragging rights involved come September. Our goal is $15,000, but which province will have the greatest total and the bragging rights until next year?
