Annual Volunteer Conference

Every year, volunteers from coast-to-coast get together at the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada annual volunteer conference to connect, learn and grow.

This year our Regional GUTS Impact Tour visited seven cities from Calgary to Halifax, and a few in between! With over 200 volunteers participating, it was an opportunity to present workshops on Gutsy Walk and Patient Support, and to learn from our volunteers what is most important in their local communities.

We were fortunate to have one of the authors of The 2018 Impact of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Canada report join us in each city to present the key findings of this important research and what it means to the future of  IBD in Canada.

Regional GUTS 2018 was a great opportunity for us to hear from our volunteers across Canada and we are already planning for 2019 – watch this page for more information.
